Working toward my PhD in Architecture at the ETH in Zurich as a part of the Building Systems Group in the Institute for Building Technologies. Studying exergy analysis in buildings and looking at hot waste water heat recovery, and as a part of the work, managing the Swiss participation in the IEA ECBCS Annex 49.

Working on completing a book on global sustainability with former advisor Jerry Schnoor and former ETH Rat president Sascha Zehnder. This will cover the full range of environmental impacts that humans are having on the Earth with a look to the future and to ways to engineer practical solutions.
